Fabio Hüther, founder of Evodrop and a Selfica partner, brought seven years of water research to Measuring the Invisible. And two claims the industry will not enjoy: you do not need to add minerals, and you do not need to alkalise.
A partner who measures
Fabio Hüther designs water treatment systems for a living. He is the founder of Evodrop, a Swiss water technology company, and a Selfica partner: with him we have opened a path that goes well beyond supplying equipment.
That path runs in three directions. Measuring what Selfica produces with recognised instruments. Strengthening the dialogue with the scientific world, by bringing our instruments inside protocols that research accepts. And developing Selfic solutions for water together. His talk at Measuring the Invisible — Water as a Living Interface — is one piece of that work.
A note on method before the content: Fabio split his own talk into three levels of evidence, and stated which one he was in every time he changed subject. In a field where the opposite temptation is the norm, that is the main reason it is worth hearing in full.

What we actually know about water
First figure, and it corrects something everyone thinks they know: we are not 70% water. That 70% is a share by mass. Counted by molecules, we are 99% water. A bacterium weighing a trillionth of a gram holds twenty billion water molecules.
Second: what separates one water from another is not the substance but the organisation. The image is graphite and diamond — the same carbon, opposite behaviour and value, and all that changes is the internal order. Applied to water, this question has a long history, from Linus Pauling in the 1930s through to Gerald Pollack and the exclusion zones that form against biological membranes — the same condition present in our own tissues.
Third: that organisation can be measured. Water molecules gather into clusters, and the nanodroplet measurement located a peak between 80 and 90 bonded molecules. The smaller and more numerous the clusters, the greater the bioavailability — because the body produces structured water itself, but doing so costs it energy. To understand what makes an excellent water excellent, Evodrop has analysed more than three hundred: holy waters, glacier waters, untouched waters.
What the Evodrop systems do
The systems address three separate problems, combinable into a single domestic installation: limescale, contaminants, molecular hydrogen.
On filtration, their systems are tested against twice the contamination limit set by Swiss law, with contaminant reduction around 99% — PFAS included, the forever chemicals now found everywhere, even on the Tibetan Plateau. And they do it without stripping the water: on minerals Fabio was blunt, calling the idea that you need to add them fake news. Inorganic minerals dissolved in water are poorly bioavailable because they come from rock; the ones we need come from food, where they have already passed through an organism’s metabolism.
Molecular hydrogen, and why alkaline water is yesterday’s answer
The densest part concerns molecular hydrogen. The antioxidants we normally take — vitamin C first among them — have a flaw: once they have acted they oxidise in turn and become waste the body must clear. Molecular hydrogen does not. H₂ meets the hydroxyl radical, the most aggressive one we carry, and the product is H₂O. It removes itself.
The point Fabio treats as decisive is selectivity. A general antioxidant knocks down every radical, including the ones the immune system needs, and removing them all unbalances it. Molecular hydrogen acts only on the harmful ones. It is a young science — it begins in 2007 — but it already counts more than 1,200 published studies.
From there comes the most direct correction in the talk, the one that concerns anyone who has bought an ioniser. Alkaline ionisers were the technology available before the role of molecular hydrogen was understood. In those machines H₂ is a byproduct, and the effect gets attributed to alkalisation. In Fabio’s words: it is not about making water ionised or alkaline, it is about producing pure molecular hydrogen. Evodrop does it with a different technology, one that changes neither the minerals nor the pH of the water.

What we are measuring together
At the end of his talk Fabio showed the study conducted with us. The instrumentation belongs to the same family as the GDV camera already in use in our treatment centre. They placed water on a Selfica Plate for ten minutes, and the measurement registered a stronger energetic effect than the control sample. No power supply, no filtration, no chemical change: only form, proportion and material.
It does not demonstrate a mechanism, and Fabio did not claim it does. He says there is something there to measure, and that it is worth carrying on — which is exactly the point of the path we have opened together.
At DamanhurCrea that path is already visible. At the public water distribution point, a Selfic circuit for running water is integrated into the Evodrop installation. Other systems are installed in the treatment room, and on the floor below there is a machine where anyone can measure the water and taste it.
